Job summary

Jobot in the Chicago area seeks a dynamic Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation and control systems in our Addison, IL manufacturing environment. You will improve production through robust control strategies and data-driven SCADA enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
• Proficient in PLC programming, SCADA, Control Systems Design, Automation, and Industrial Control.
• Experience with Systems Integration and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be playing a vital role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing waste, and driving continuous improvement.
