Job summary

A manufacturing company is seeking an Entry-level Control Designer to create control schemes for medium and large power transformers. This full-time role requires generating schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials while collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree in Control circuits or equivalent training, along with 3-5 years of relevant design experience. Strong CAD and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years design experience in control circuits.
• Equivalent training in the Armed Services or approved equivalent in the industry may suffice.
• Working knowledge in designing with E3 wiring Program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and interpret them into control design.
• Create schematics and wiring diagrams for manufacturing processes.
• Generate bills of materials including control enclosure and components.

Skills

Working knowledge of CAD design tools

Strong communication skills

Ability to work under minimal supervision

Understanding of relays and circuit breakers

Self-motivated

Education
