Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Manager of Accounting (Controllership) to lead end-to-end financial reporting and oversight of monthly/quarterly close processes. You will partner with auditors and cross-functional leaders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting to Haier and internal stakeholders.

The role requires CPA certification, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong leadership in controllership practices with a focus on compliance and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Active CPA license required.
• Experience with US GAAP and SOX is required.
• Big Four public accounting experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end financial reporting processes including monthly and quarterly reporting packages for submission to Haier.
• Supports the preparation of US GAAP financial statements and related footnotes.
• Leads closing for estimates and reserves and prepares cash flow statements.
• Leads quarterly balance sheet reviews with finance teams and cross-functional partners.
• Coordinates with internal and external auditors for audit requests and activities.
• Manages and develops the Controllership team across monthly close and reporting.
