You'll also work closely with internal and external auditors, facilitating audit requests and supporting both external and internal audits.## ## PositionManager, Accounting, (Controllership)## ## LocationUSA, Louisville, KY## How You'll Create Possibilities* Owns and manages end-to-end financial reporting processes, including preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for submission to GE Appliances’ Parent, Haier.* Supports the preparation of annual U.S. GAAP financial statements and related footnotes.* Owns closing responsibilities for certain estimates and reserves, including evaluating various inputs and assumptions and preparing the monthly statement of cash flows.* Leads quarterly balance sheet reviews with Finance teams, functional leaders, and legal entities.* Performs comprehensive balance sheet analysis, identifies process improvements, and drives simplification initiatives in collaboration with the CFO’s Staff and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, transparency, consistency, and accountability.* Partners with internal and external auditors to coordinate audit requests and support internal and external audit activities.* Manages and develops Controllership team members responsible for monthly close and financial reporting across key business line items, including treasury, intracompany, and intercompany activities with Haier affiliates, while providing leadership, coaching, and support to the broader team.## What You'll Bring to Our Team**Educational and Experiential Background*** May require a university degree and/or technical certification, supplemented by a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, reflecting a combination of theoretical understanding and practical proficiency in the field.* Must possess an active CPA license.* Prior experience with US GAAP and SOX required.* Experience with one of the “Big Four” Public Accounting firms strongly preferred. **Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:*** ***Leadership & Talent Management:*** Applies foundational management skills to lead and support a team, including scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and ensuring adherence to financial and operational policies.
