Luminary Hotel & Co in Florida seeks an experienced Controller to oversee finance and accounting for vacation rental properties and condominium associations, reporting to VP of Finance. This role leads staff, manages month-end close, tax filings, budgeting, and internal controls, partnering with operations and owners.

The position supports multiple properties across Anna Maria Island and Tampa, with flexible location and travel as needed.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Vacation rental accounting experience preferred, including condo associations.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with lodging-related tax filings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to association meetings as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting packages.
• Manage Accounts Receivable activities, including condominium association and intercompany billing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable activities.
• Coordinate the monthly close process and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review and distribute monthly financial reporting packages; ensure reconciliations are documented.
