Job summary

Levy Restaurants in Evanston, IL, at Northwestern University’s Ryan Field, seeks an experienced Controller to oversee location finances and partner with operations to drive performance. Reporting to the Regional Finance leader, you will manage monthly closes, forecasts, and financial reporting with the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Working with operations teams to understand financial data and drive improvements.
• Collaborating with Partner Finance to ensure alignment on financial goals.
• Refining weekly location forecasts with leadership input.
• Completing monthly close of the general ledger and managing AR.
• Monitoring credit card settlements, wire transfers, and subcontractor payments.
• Overseeing cash room and armored car pick-ups, and month-end processes.
• Managing capital asset tracking and annual budgeting, including AP accruals.
• Ensuring accurate tax rates for financial reporting and documentation management.
• Coordinating annual financial audits and related activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
