Job summary

A Quality Facility Services (AQFS) is seeking a Controller/Senior Bookkeeper to own the accounting function and drive financial strategy. This hands-on role reports directly to leadership and offers a hybrid schedule, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong full-cycle accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and accounting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Able to work independently and take ownership.
• Comfortable being the primary internal accounting professional.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Public accounting or CPA firm experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the company's day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Lead the month-end close and financial reporting process.
• Support cash management, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiency.
• Provide accurate financial information and insight to leadership.
• Take ownership of accounting projects and initiatives.

What You'll Do

You'll take ownership of the company's accounting function and play an important role in supporting the company's continued growth.
