Job summary

Accountants One, Inc. is partnering with a growing Marietta-based SaaS company to hire a hands-on Controller. You will own accounting, finance, and lightweight HR operations and report directly to leadership.

Experience in SaaS and strong knowledge of ASC 606 are essential. You'll manage the general ledger, close, and financial reporting in QuickBooks while tracking SaaS metrics and building scalable processes to support subscription growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including hands-on Controller or Senior Accountant work.
• SaaS or software industry experience is required.
• ASC 606 revenue recognition knowledge.
• CPA and Public Accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Comfort wearing multiple hats in a small-company environment.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting, finance, and lightweight HR operations.
• Lead transition from cash-basis to accrual accounting with ASC 606.
• Manage general ledger, close process, and financial reporting in QuickBooks.
• Track and report SaaS metrics (MRR/ARR, deferred revenue, churn).
• Build scalable finance processes and controls for subscription growth.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Payroll, benefits, and 401(k) administration.
• HR administration (recruiting logistics, onboarding, policies).
