Job summary

The Controller at NESC Staffing will plan and direct the company’s accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations. This on-site role is based in Seabrook, NH and requires strong GAAP knowledge, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include treasury management, month-end/year-end close, audits, and collaboration with other departments to monitor KPIs. CPA preferred; construction industry experience and familiarity with Vista are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a financial controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with construction software, preferably Vista.

Position Description:

The Controller will plan and direct the company's accounting operations. Responsible for overseeing the operations of the Accounting Department, which includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.

Essential Functions:

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing and audit processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators.

• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls.

Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:
