Controller - Play a key role in Workday Implementation for this growing Omaha Corporation

Wonderful opportunity to join this growing Omaha-based corporation in a key leadership role during a critical modernization project involving Workday implementation. Our client seeks an individual with experience using or implementing Workday, or who has participated in a significant accounting software upgrade or integration project. This role offers a chance to join a stable organization eager to add a strategic leader to this impactful position.

1. Lead, motivate, mentor, and coach a team of accountants with diverse experience levels, from recent graduates to seasoned professionals.
2. Coordinate with external auditors and third-party consultants involved in special transactions and consulting services.
3. Oversee the financial statement preparation process and provide final review of the accounting team's work.
4. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, especially the upcoming Workday implementation.
