Job description

We are seeking a dedicated professional with extensive non-profit controller experience—ideally within a performing arts organization to join our team. In this role, the ideal candidate will thoughtfully oversee the organization's financial records and support our accounting personnel. You will also serve as a key steward of our mission by maintaining all procedures and controls related to the organization's financial accounts.

Responsibilities
  • The Controller leads budgeting and forecasting, monitors budget-to-actual performance, manages grant and restricted fund accounting, and ensures compliance with GAAP, nonprofit standards, and audit requirements.They develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies, supervise finance staff, and translate complex financial data into accessible analysis.
