Job summary

The Headhunters, LLC is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting and finance function from Williamston, Michigan. You will oversee financial reporting, forecasting, analysis, and NetSuite implementation while ensuring US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Ideal candidates have ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, and proven leadership. This in-person role offers some flexibility and occasional work-from-home days with a competitive base salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a BA/BS in accounting or finance and 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience leading ERP implementations or NetSuite is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP.
• Ensure integrity of financial systems and timely records.
• Coordinate annual operating budget with FP&A and perform variance analysis.
• Lead external assurance work with CPA firm and maintain internal controls.
• Drive NetSuite implementation alongside external consultants and perform financial analysis with Excel.
• Supervise finance staff and support ad hoc projects.
