Job summary

Hueman Professional Recruitment's top client in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced Controller to own the close, consolidation, controls, and revenue recognition policy across multiple entities. You will lead the corporate accounting team and drive standardization as acquisitions arrive, reporting to the CFO and partnering with the executive team.

The role requires hands-on experience with multi-entity closes, policy development, and ERP expertise (NetSuite preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent depth in technical accounting and external audit.
• Experience owning multi-entity close and consolidation, including mid-period acquisitions.
• Hands-on experience with percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and job costing.
• Experience building policy, controls, and segregation of duties; external audit ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close calendar and consolidation across entities.
• Own revenue recognition policy and the percentage-of-completion process.
• Manage internal controls framework and audit deliverables.
• Lead and develop corporate accounting team.
• Own chart of accounts, master data standards, and system configuration.
• Integrate acquired businesses onto standard close and reporting.
