Leoforce is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead manufacturing finance activities in the Lenoir, NC area. The role oversees close processes, cost accounting, payroll-related accounting, and cross-department collaboration to improve reporting accuracy and controls.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in accounting within manufacturing, with a solid GAAP foundation and a drive for process improvement and leadership growth. Excellent work-life balance and growth opportunities are highlighted.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly and work effectively across departments.
• Hands‑on mentality with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Interest in professional growth and expanded leadership responsibilities.
• Candidates with Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly close activities and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger transactions, and account reconciliations.

• Maintain balance sheet accuracy and support internal accounting controls.
• Support manufacturing cost accounting and inventory-related accounting activities.
• Analyze financial information, investigate discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
• Oversee payroll-related accounting and collaborate with HR as needed.
• Work with internal teams to improve financial reporting, data accuracy, and accounting processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as responsibilities expand.
• Partner with leadership on accounting and operational initiatives.
