Job summary

Brilliant® is seeking an experienced Controller to own the accounting function and drive process improvements in a growth-focused environment. You will lead the month-end close, oversee daily accounting operations, and implement controls to enhance reporting accuracy.

Ideal candidates have Controller or Accounting Manager experience, strong technical accounting, and a track record of improving processes with a focus on automation and technology integration.

Qualifications

• Controller or Accounting Manager-level experience.
• Strong technical accounting and month-end close experience.
• Proven track record in improving accounting processes.
• Experience with technology, automation, or process improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close and financial reporting process.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
• Review reconciliations, accruals, AP/AR, and general ledger activity.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technology.
• Help develop and strengthen the accounting team.
