Job summary

Sedron Technologies, LLC is seeking a seasoned Controller to manage day-to-day accounting operations in Bellingham, WA or Sedro-Woolley, WA. You will oversee GL, payroll, AP/AR, fixed assets, and the close process, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

You will partner with the CAO, CFO and FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial decisions while leading the accounting team through audits, tax filings, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3–5 years in a controller or senior accounting leadership role.
• Manufacturing or project-based industry experience preferred.
• Deep expertise in ERP systems (Dynamics/NetSuite/SAP) and advanced Excel.
• GAAP and internal controls knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams and manage audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full cycle accounting operations including GL, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Design and maintain internal controls; enforce accounting policies across the organization.
• Coordinate external audit activities and liaise with auditors.
• Oversee tax compliance activities including sales/use tax and income tax filings.
• Manage and develop the accounting team with coaching and performance oversight.
• Partner with the CAO, CFO and FP&A on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Drive ERP optimization and system improvements.
