Job summary

Responsibilities

Supervise all daily accounting activity.
Assign and audit work of general accounting clerks across accounts payable, payroll, billing and general accounting.
Manage operations to achieve goals within resources.
Prepare financial statements and internal reports as directed; maintain official accounting records.
Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, expedite workflow and improve procedures.
Oversee preparation and reporting of monthly financial statements.
Direct the Accounting department to maintain records and provide accounting services.
Consolidate and analyze monthly departmental reports and prepare supporting analysis.
Propose policies for inventory levels and year-end audit items.
Ensure general ledger and statements conform to GAAP.
