Controller - High Growth Infrastructure and Environmental Services Company - Boston

Our client is a high growth infrastructure and environmental services company serving multiple markets with a customer base spanning the New England area. We are recruiting a Controller to help lead the business from a financial perspective as it enters its next phase of growth. Headquartered in the Boston area with multiple locations, the company is on pace to double in size over the next three years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions.

The Controller will oversee accounting and financial reporting while bringing greater process, discipline, visibility, and accountability to the organization. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone comfortable working in the details while also improving systems, controls, forecasting, job costing, cash management, and financial decision‑making.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a project‑based, field‑service, construction, industrial services, or related environment, with exposure to businesses involving infrastructure construction, equipment installation and repair, maintenance, equipment/service operations, or similar work. Experience managing job costing, work‑in‑process, inventory, equipment, labor utilization, subcontractors, and multi‑location operations is relevant. Experience supporting acquisitions or integrating newly acquired businesses is a plus.

The successful candidate will be practical, analytical, and highly organized, with the ability to work closely with ownership and operations while establishing the processes and financial discipline needed to support significant growth.
