Job summary

FamilyWell, a venture-backed healthcare organization transforming women's mental health care, is seeking an Accounting Operations & Financial Close leader in the United States. You will own full-cycle accounting, lead close processes, and partner with CFO on budgeting and forecasting.

This role focuses on managing tax filings, internal controls, audits, and delivering monthly financial statements, with cross-functional collaboration across RCM, People, Tech, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and revenue recognition.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain chart of accounts and accounting policies.
• Manage federal, state, and local tax filings.
• Oversee annual tax returns and quarterly estimates.
• Ensure 1099/W-2 compliance.
• Design and implement internal controls.
• Serve as point of contact for audits and due diligence.
• Mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Deliver accurate monthly financial statements.
• Partner with CFO on budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic decisions.
