Client Summary

  • Uses advanced data infrastructure and automation to support care coordination, population health, and value-based care initiatives

  • Growing organization with significant operational complexity across multiple states, care delivery models, and value-based care structures
Position Responsibilities
  • Lead integration of acquired healthcare businesses into a unified accounting and reporting structure
  • Own the company's first financial audit in 2026 including controls and external auditor management
  • Design and scale a multi-entity consolidation model across entities, states, and revenue streams
  • Transition entities from cash to accrual accounting and standardize chart of accounts across the organization
  • Own accounting systems architecture including ERP, payroll, billing, and RCM integrations
  • Drive ERP implementation and reduce monthly close timeline through process and systems improvements
  • Build and lead a team of approximately 10 across core accounting functions including AP, payroll, treasury, and tax
  • Partner with RCM, FP&A, and operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory and payor reporting requirements across multiple states
Experience & Skills

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of accounting experience including Controller or equivalent role in a healthcare services organization
  • Direct experience in a roll-up or multi-entity environment integrating acquired businesses
  • Deep familiarity with healthcare revenue models including fee-for-service, capitation, PMPM, and value-based care structures
  • Proven track record improving close timelines and implementing accounting infrastructure in high-growth environments
  • Strong technical accounting foundation across complex multi-entity and multi-state environments

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing modern ERP systems and building scalable accounting processes from the ground up
  • Comfort with cloud ERP, embedded analytics, and partnering with data or engineering teams
  • Experience with delegated risk, MSOs, provider groups, or health plans
  • Prior exposure to risk-bearing entities or value-based care arrangements
