Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group seeks a hands-on Controller in Alpharetta, GA to own the accounting function end-to-end, stabilize the close, and prepare for the first full audit. This role requires CPA, 10+ years of progressive accounting, and Sage Intacct experience in a fast-growing environment.

You will lead month-end close, oversee GL and reconciliations, strengthen internal controls, and coach the accounting team as the company scales toward its next audit and growth phase.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close (target 3-day close).
• Lead audit preparation and coordination (first-year audit).
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity.
• Identify and eliminate manual processes and inefficiencies.
• Strengthen internal controls and reporting accuracy.
• Supervise, train, and develop the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities
