Job summary

A leading acquisition-driven organization in Alpharetta is looking for a hands-on Controller. This role encompasses the full accounting lifecycle, optimizing ERP systems, enhancing financial reporting, and supporting rapid scalability. Candidates must have a CPA and over 10 years of accounting experience, specializing in high-growth environments. Key responsibilities include managing accounting operations, ensuring GAAP compliance, and leading a high-performing team. The position offers a base salary up to $160,000 plus substantial benefits including a 401(k) match and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience with a CPA certification.
• Proven experience in high-growth environments demonstrating leadership and adaptability.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with hands-on ERP systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and reporting.
• Manage month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls.
• Develop and refine accounting policies and procedures.
• Optimize ERP system usage and reporting capabilities.
• Support audits and coordinate with external accounting partners.
• Oversee compliance and tax processes across multiple states.
• Lead a high-performing accounting team.
