- Act as the Controller for designated clients
- Serve as a consultant and advisor on accounting and finance-related best practices
- Manage multiple clients, projects, workstreams, and deadlines
- Prepare and analyze client financial statements
- Make recommendations based on financial statement analysis
- Foster and build business opportunities
- Attend industry-leading events and trainings
- Maintain knowledge of client organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards
- Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions
Requirements
- Seven years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Nonprofit experience highly preferred
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- Prior project management experience preferred but not required
- Prior client management experience preferred but not required
