First National Bank of America seeks a Controller to direct accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance under U.S. GAAP and RAP. The role leads month-end and year-end closings, coordinates audits, and maintains strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has CPA credentials, 8+ years in banking/financial services, and deep CECL/GAAP knowledge. This role partners with the CFO and supports strategic planning and capital optimization.

Competenze

• CPA preferred with active license.
• 8+ years in accounting/financial management in banking or financial services.
• Experience with FFIEC Call Reports and regulatory exams.
• Strong U.S. GAAP, CECL, regulatory principles, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with core banking software and GL/close tools.
• Experience with ERP conversions a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

Mansioni

• Lead regulatory filings and financial reporting duties.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and board reporting.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and regulatory examinations.
• Design and monitor internal controls to protect assets.
• Provide ALM data support and treasury coordination.
• Supervise accounting team and drive process automation.
