Job summary

Birddog Talent, LLC is seeking a Controller in the North Metro Atlanta area. The role reports to the CFO and leads the accounting function, driving modernization of finance, internal controls, and ERP optimization with a focus on automation and insightful reporting.

The successful candidate will own financial reporting, collaborate with auditors and stakeholders, and guide a growing team in a manufacturing/tech environment. Hybrid work schedule with four days in office.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements and executive packages.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls and ERP optimization.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve accuracy and reduce manual work.
• Create dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility for leadership.
• Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
