At the Tubize (40%) and Herstal/Loncin (60%) sites

In Tubize, you will join more than 250 colleagues recognized by domestic and international partners for expertise on products such as Radio Frequency (RF) Products, C4ISR, Crypto Global Solution, MACS (Aeronautical Intercom) and many others.

In Herstal, you will join more than 150 colleagues specialized in the design, development, production and supply of weapon systems and ammunitions for use by customers in the Defense (MoD), Aerospace (OEM) and Land (OEM) sectors. With the Guided Rocket in the portfolio additional market’s segments are now addressed like Ground-to-Ground applications or Counter-UAS.

Your mission

Under the supervision of the Chief Accountant and in collaboration with another accountant, you will play a key role in the oversight, analysis, and review of accounting processes. Operational tasks are handled by our Shared Service Center, allowing this position to focus on more supervisory and value-added responsibilities, including:

• Monitoring of subsidies: preparation and follow-up of subsidy claims to public authorities, including the recording and reconciliation of related accounting entries;
• Support during monthly closing accrual, statutory audits, annual tax filings, and annual accounts;
• Analysis, justification, and reconciliation of customer, supplier, and accrual accounts;
• Contribution to the optimization and streamlining of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process in coordination with relevant teams;
• Involvement in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and the maintenance of internal controls.

We are looking forward to

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting. Experience in multinational environment is an asset;
• Technical skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP/Taxation and familiarity with IFRS is a plus;
  • Proficiency in Excel and good command of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.);
• Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English;
• Analytical mindset: Ability to analyze financial data, reconcile complex accounts, and identify process improvements;
