CFS in York, PA is seeking a Controller to join its leadership team in a period of growth and acquisitions. The role oversees accounting, consolidations, and strategic financial planning within a manufacturing environment.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Controller will drive GAAP reporting, multi-entity consolidation, and internal controls while partnering with operations to deliver insights and foster company growth through acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Manufacturing industry accounting and finance experience required.
• Experience with financial consolidations required.
• CPA is a plus but not required.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage multi-entity financial reporting and consolidations.
• Assist with acquisition integration efforts and ongoing financial consolidation activities.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls, processes, and reporting capabilities.
• Partner with operations leadership to provide financial insights and business recommendations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning activities.
• Coordinate external audits and tax-related activities.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff as the company continues to grow.

• A Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Assistant Controller with manufacturing experience who is ready to step into their first Controller role.

Position Overview

Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Controller will oversee the accounting and finance functions while helping support the company's continued growth through acquisitions. This individual will play a key role in financial reporting, consolidations, operational finance, and strategic decision-making.
