What You'll Actually Do:

• Own accounting operations including internal processes and external vendor relationships


• Manage all QuickBooks activity: management fee revenue, expenses, journal entries, credit cards, and month/year-end workflows


• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, tax filings, and reporting packages


• Oversee payroll and benefits administration in partnership with outside accounting firm


• Build financial models and projections for benchmarking, national ranking submissions, and internal planning


• Coordinate employee benefits: onboarding, insurance renewals, 401(k) activities, and general employee support


• Evaluate and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and compliance practice


• Analyze trends and provide insights and recommendations to the Executive Team


• Support strategic and entrepreneurial initiatives across the firm to ensure long-term stability and growth

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance


• CPA highly preferred


• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience – Public accounting preferred


• Independent, organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage diverse responsibilities


• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in QuickBooks, required
