The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

You will be responsible for leading corporate accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, process improvements, and integration of newly acquired companies. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on transformation, automation, and financial clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the financial close process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
• Manage compliance with GAAP, ASC 606 (revenue recognition), ASC 842 (leases), and ASC 340 (deferred costs).
• Support M&A integrations, including balance sheet cleanup, financial system integrations, and reporting standardization.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes, bringing efficiency to month-end close and reporting cycles.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline operations within Sage Intacct and other financial systems.
• Work closely with private equity sponsors and executive leadership to support strategic financial decisions.
• Provide financial insights and leadership to help drive profitability and operational improvements.

What Makes You the Right Fit?

This role is for someone who understands corporate accounting, private equity-backed environments, and financial transformation.

Education & Certification:

• CPA, CMA, or MBA/MAcc strongly preferred.

Experience:

• 10+ years in corporate accounting, with at least 3 years in a fully remote leadership role.
• Experience in PE-backed companies, preferably in IT Services, SaaS, or Technology-Enabled industries.
• Strong knowledge of subscription-based revenue models, deferred revenue, and capitalized software accounting.
• M&A integration experience—helping clean up balance sheets, integrate financial systems, and standardize reporting.
