Job summary

TurboPass is a fast-growing fintech/SaaS company seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function and build the financial infrastructure to support growth.

Reporting to CEO and COO, this hands-on leadership role owns the close, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and prepares for the first formal audit; prior SaaS/fintech exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active (or eligible) CPA required.
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a small to mid-sized company.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar).
• Experience owning the full accounting function from close through financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and executive reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting operations.
• Build scalable accounting processes and internal controls.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions.
• Lead the company’s first external financial audit.

This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity where you’ll have a direct impact on the future of the business.

What We’re Looking For
