Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment and partnering directly with leadership.
• Strong Excel skills; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process across multiple entities, including GL activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and close checklists.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and recurring management reports for leadership review.
• Analyze account activity and variances; explain drivers and flag issues early.
• Oversee cash management, payments, approvals, and related controls; provide working capital visibility.
• Build and maintain cash forecasting and support budgeting as needed.
• Maintain strong documentation, internal controls, and accounting process discipline.
• Own the accounting system and improve recurring workflows, reporting templates, and close efficiency over time.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teammates on accounting questions, reporting needs, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with external accountants, banks, and other financial partners for reviews, tax support, and recurring requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process across multiple entities, including general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, and close checklist management
• Prepare monthly financial statements and recurring management reports for leadership review
• Analyze account activity and variances; help explain what is driving results and flag issues early
• Oversee cash management, payment approvals, and related controls, and provide working capital visibility
• Build and maintain cash forecasting, and support budgeting as needed
• Maintain strong documentation, internal controls, and accounting process discipline
• Own the accounting system and improve recurring workflows, reporting templates, and close efficiency over time
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teammates on accounting questions, reporting needs, and process improvements
• Coordinate with external accountants, banks, and other financial partners for reviews, tax support, and recurring requests
• Handle additional accounting priorities as the business requires
