Exciting opportunity for a Controller to oversee full-cycle and inventory accounting for a thriving company with over 30 years of success, located in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger management and compliance with accounting standards
• Develop, manage, and oversee the company’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Perform account reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset management
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports, offering insights to the CFO.
• Process payroll in QuickBooks and manage payroll tax returns.
• Assist / manage company warehouse inventory and orders in/out of facility
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Manage payroll processing, inventory accounting, and the onboarding of new employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• QuickBooks and Excel experience required.
