Job summary

Employbridge is conducting a confidential search for a Division Controller to lead the financial performance of a multi-site manufacturing division, with locations in Dallas, TX or Springdale, AR. This hands-on role partners with division and operations leadership to drive profitability, strengthen cost discipline, and align financial performance with company-wide goals across plants.

You will oversee GAAP accounting, budgeting, inventory, cost analysis, capital projects, and develop a finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 8+ years in accounting/finance with 3+ years in a controller or senior finance role.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• CPA or CMA preferred; ERP experience with Epicor strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division accounting operations: GL, AP/AR, inventory, cost accounting with GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; deliver insights to improve financial performance.
• Partner with operations to analyze cost drivers, pricing, and production metrics.
• Lead inventory management and cost-improvement initiatives across sites.
• Manage financial aspects of capital projects and investment analyses.
• Coach and develop an accounting/finance team; liaise between division and corporate finance.

Division Controller – Manufacturing | Confidential Search

Location: Dallas, TX OR our Springdale, Arkansas location

Compensation: $100,000 to $145,000 base + 10% profit sharing

Travel: Approximately 5%, primarily to one of 4 plant locations.

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a growing multi site manufacturing organization for a Division Controller to serve as the primary financial leader for one of its business divisions.

About the Role

This is a hands on, operationally focused Controller position for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance and the plant floor. You'll partner directly with division and operations leadership to drive profitability, strengthen cost discipline, and align financial performance with company wide goals across a multi site manufacturing footprint.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all division accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, inventory, and cost accounting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
• Own the division's budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, delivering actionable insights that improve financial performance
• Partner with operations leadership to analyze cost drivers, pricing, and production metrics
• Lead inventory management and cost improvement initiatives, identifying and executing savings opportunities across sites
• Manage financial aspects of capital projects and investment analyses to support growth and efficiency
• Coach and develop an accounting/finance team, building accountability and technical depth
• Serve as the key financial liaison between the division and corporate finance across multiple plant locations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or senior financial management role
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• Strong background in inventory accounting and cost savings/cost improvement
• Multi site or multi division experience strongly preferred
• CPA preferred (CMA also considered)
• ERP experience with Epicor strongly preferred; experience with NetSuite, Oracle, or similar systems also welcomed
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities including monthly close, audits, and strategic projects, without sacrificing accuracy or compliance
