Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Charles, MO area to identify a Controller. This onsite role will oversee accounting operations, prepare and review financial statements and management reports, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

The position is fully onsite with a growing organization making an impact on growth. Responsibilities include managing month-end close, maintaining the general ledger, and overseeing payroll/HR-related processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Previous management or leadership experience preferred.

• Controller will oversee all accounting operations for multiple companies
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and account reconciliations
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Manage cash flow and banking relationships
• Monitor internal controls and implement process improvements
• As a Controller, you will manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Oversee benefits administration and employee enrollments
• Maintain employee records and HR compliance documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous management or leadership experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
