Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a leading NYC based Real Estate firm, is seeking a Controller. You will direct staff of five in all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management. You will also liaise with the outside accounting firm for annual audit and tax issues. Requirements

• Degree in Accounting required; CPA is a plus
• 12+ years of professional accounting experience, primarily in the real estate field; residential real estate background is highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage staff, delegate tasks, and develop and evaluate employee performance
• Experience with MRI and Excel preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
