Job summary

ProspectBlue is seeking a Controller in Richmond, VA to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting in a fast-paced, transaction-heavy environment. This hands-on leadership role requires a CPA and a strong background in GAAP.

The position leads day-to-day accounting (AP/AR/payroll/GL), prepares financial statements, and manages month-end/year-end closes. You will develop internal controls and collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience; Controller/Assistant Controller preferred.
• Automotive retail accounting experience preferred; familiarity with DMS a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
