Job summary

Staffing Solutions Enterprises in Cleveland, OH seeks a hands-on Controller to oversee all accounting operations and ensure impeccable financial reporting in a mid-sized manufacturing environment. You will lead a dedicated team, strengthen internal controls, and partner with leadership to drive strategic financial decisions.

The role requires a CPA preferred, 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency, and strong analytical/communication skills.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Proven leadership skills in supervising and developing accounting teams
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
• Knowledge of internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience working with external auditors, banks, and tax advisors

Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification strongly preferred
• 7 to over 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution setting
