Job summary

Vicar’s Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Controller to manage all accounting and financial reporting, reporting to the CFO and leading the accounting team.

You will oversee monthly close, prepare statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses while strengthening internal controls and supporting audits.

Nice to have CPA, Bachelor's degree, and experience in healthcare or nonprofit accounting, with growth opportunities toward strategic financial leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in accounting or finance.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role leads the accounting team, ensures accurate financial records, supports budgeting and audits, and provides meaningful financial insight to leadership and department heads.

What You’ll Do

• Support annual audits, year‑end close, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist with capital project accounting, budgets, and financial analysis
• Maintain accounting systems, reporting processes, and financial documentation
• Provide financial guidance and reporting support to department leaders

Must Have Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting
• Demonstrated leadership experience in accounting or finance
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
