Overview

Our client is seeking a Controller to lead and evolve their global accounting function during a period of rapid growth. Reporting to the CFO, this is a high-trust, high-impact leadership role for a finance professional who wants to build scalable infrastructure and optimize finance operations across multiple entities.

Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Hybrid

Compensation

Up to $160K+ | Long-term incentives | Full Medical, Dental, Vision | 401(k)

What You’ll Do

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across multiple entities
• Drive NetSuite implementation and accounting automation strategies
• Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and multi-entity compliance
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP, ASC 606, and relevant international standards
• Oversee AP, AR, intercompany consolidations, and tax compliance
• Partner with leadership on audit preparation, reporting, and cross-functional finance enablement
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing, distributed finance team

What You’ll Bring

• CPA or equivalent qualification with expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606
• 5+ years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role in high-growth or founder-led environments
• Proven experience leading a NetSuite ERP implementation
• Operational experience across multi-entity and international accounting structures
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on building scalable finance operations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
