This role involves leading accounting and finance operations, managing ERP systems, and ensuring financial integrity. The ideal candidate has over 15 years in the Food or CPG industry with strong IFRS knowledge. Compensation ranges from $175,000 to $225,000 plus bonuses, with benefits including medical, dental, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience within the Food or CPG industry with 5+ years in leadership.
• Expert-level knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Transformation experience covering process and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reporting, reconciliation of accounts and analysis.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, payroll, and taxes.
• Manage and optimize two ERP systems.
• Assess processes and controls impacting financials and recommend actions.
• Supervise Treasury focused on improving working capital.
• Oversee accounts receivable, payable, payroll, fixed asset, and tax activities.
• Participate in corporate governance processes.

We are working with the CFO of a global food manufacturing company based in Westchester County, NY. They are looking for a dynamic Controller to join their team and lead all accounting and finance operations. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead monthly financial reporting, consolidation and closing processes, reconciliation of various financial statement accounts and deep dive analysis as appropriate
• Maintain and ensure the integrity of the general ledger, payroll, and taxes
• Manage and optimize two ERP systems with a strategic eye towards harmonization
• Proactively assess processes and controls that have a material financial impact; recommend course correcting action as needed.
• Supervise Treasury with a focus on continuous improvement of working capital year over year
• Provide management oversight and direction for the company’s accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, fixed asset, and tax activities
• Actively participate in corporate governance process of the company

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA
• 15+ years of experience within the Food or CPG industry with 5+ years in leadership
• Expert-level knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Transformation experience covering process and ERP

COMPENSATION

$175,000 - $225,000 + Bonus
