Overview

Vaco is working with a great company in search of a Controller near Ocean Township, NJ. Company offers amazing benefits, bonuses, 401k match, generous PTO.

Responsibilities

• The Controller will supervise up to 4 employees
• Review, and finalize month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including all supporting documentation
• The Controller will be responsible for internal and external financial reporting
• The Controller will prepare/review monthly reconciliations of pertinent general ledger and all company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Perform daily cash management activities including monitoring bank account balances, preparing company wire transfer payments, and reviewing accounts payable runs
• Maintain up-to-date financial schedules including company properties, fixed assets, and intercompany balances
• Implement strict internal controls to ensure full compliance of all accepted accounting principles
• Processing w2\'s and w3\'s, approving purchase orders, and invoice payments
• The Controller will prepare monthly schedules and financial reports for management review and analysis
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial work papers, including company external audits

Qualifications

• MBA or CPA Highly Preferred
• At least 10+ years of experience
• Experience within Power BI and/or MS Dynamics 365 helpful

Compensation

Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
