Job summary

NOW CFO is seeking a Controller to lead client engagements for small to mid-sized businesses as a full-time W-2 employee in Nashville. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, building internal controls, cash flow management, and budgeting, with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 8+ years of experience, including CPA-firm audit exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 8+ years work experience.
• Audit experience at a CPA firm preferred.
• Experience with full bookkeeping cycle (GL, AR/AP, reconciliations).
• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and financial systems and processes.
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience supporting Operational Software (MS Office) preferred.

We are seeking a Controller who will help us lead client engagements assisting small to mid-sized businesses with various accounting challenges as a full-time, W-2 employee for NOW CFO.

Job Requirements:

Candidate will contain exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentations skills along with the skills to manage multiple priorities effectively with a strong commitment to achieving the goals of the department and the company.
