As the largest food pantry in Illinois, it offers a variety of nutritious options, including fresh produce, milk, and eggs. Through Loaves & Fishes CARES, clients access services such as emergency assistance, public benefits support, car donations, tax preparation, job readiness, and financial education, as well as Moving Up, a 16-session program focused on overcoming barriers to stability. The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations needs of the organization.The position reports to the VP of Finance & Administration and currently manages one staff accountant.The position includes an occasional night or weekend as necessary to support meetings and events.
Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience, salary - $82,000; and a comprehensive benefits package is offered
