Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Background as a Controller or junior Controller, or senior accounting professional ready to grow.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience in construction, real estate, or multi-entity environments is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage books across multiple LLCs including residential construction, land development, and commercial real estate.
• Perform job costing for active builds and projects.
• Enter and track invoices; maintain records across entities.
• Track sales activity and monitor progress across developments and lot inventory.
• Review P&L statements for shopping center operations.
• Manage monthly rental income and reconcile rent collections.
• Administer CAM charges including snow plowing and shared expenses.
• Prepare consolidated financial reporting across entities.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to owner and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the books across multiple LLCs, including residential construction, land development, and commercial real estate entities
• Perform job costing for active home builds and construction projects
• Enter and track invoices; maintain accurate records across all entities
• Track sales activity and monitor progress across active developments and lot inventory
• Review profit and loss statements for the company's shopping center
• Manage monthly rental income and reconcile rent collections
• Administer Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges, including costs for snow plowing, lawn care, and shared property expenses
• Compile and organize financial data across entities to produce clear, consolidated reporting
• Support the owner and leadership team with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Background as a Controller, Junior Controller, or senior accounting professional ready to grow into a Controller role
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience in construction, real estate, or multi-entity environments is a strong plus
• Ability to manage and organize financial data across multiple LLCs
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• CPA preferred but not required
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, entrepreneurial environment
