Job summary

Guided Search Partners is seeking an experienced Financial Controller with a strong background in cost accounting to oversee financial operations, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting from our Mesa, Arizona office. You will manage general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, month/year-end close, and lead cost accounting activities such as product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis.

Strong ERP experience is required to deliver accurate inventory valuation and cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, including cost accounting.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong ERP and analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close.
• Lead cost accounting activities: product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Perform inventory valuation and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Prepare cost reports and profitability analyses for leadership.
• Develop internal controls and compliance procedures.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate physical counts.
• Collaborate with operations to improve margins and reduce costs.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
