Job Summary

A legal services organization in Irvine, CA is seeking a Controller for a direct hire opportunity. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help strengthen internal controls across the firm. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys both hands‑on technical accounting and team leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, perform account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and established financial controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, audit coordination, and tax preparation.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members while identifying process improvement opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
• Job type: Direct hire.
