Job summary

CFS, based in Indianapolis, seeks a Controller to lead all accounting operations, close processes, and financial reporting. The role provides direct access to executive leadership and a seat at strategic decision-making, with a path to mentor and grow the accounting team.

You will shape budgeting, forecasting, and KPI insights, ensuring robust internal controls, plus collaboration on financial planning and reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business strategy.
• Ensure strong internal controls and GAAP compliance; partner with leadership on financial planning and KPIs.
• Manage audits, tax coordination, and external financial relationships.
