Job summary

Boly Welch is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations at their on-site Grants Pass facility. This senior role centers on strategic decision-making and operational excellence, reporting directly to the CEO/President.

You will maintain internal controls, inventory costing, and tax filings while staying hands-on with the books. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of leadership in manufacturing or distribution accounting, proficiency in QuickBooks, and ERP

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting leadership experience in Manufacturing or Distribution.
• Experience with QuickBooks is required.
• Wood products industry experience preferred; ERP experience a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial operations, driving strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, inventory methods, and product costing.
• Deliver actionable insights to leadership while hands-on with the books and tax filings.

Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to take charge of their accounting and financial operations. This role sits at the center of strategic decision-making and operational excellence - the perfect opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional looking for their next senior-level role.

As Controller, you’ll develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, inventory calculation methods, and product costing processes while delivering actionable insights to leadership. As the company’s first true Controller, you’ll report directly to the CEO/President. This role requires the ability to operate both strategically and tactically, maintaining hands-on engagement with the books while producing financial models and tax filings.

Success in this role requires a confident, collaborative leader who can communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

This is a fully on-site role based in Grants Pass.
