Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager in manufacturing.
• Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience.
• Strong GAAP, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• CPA or CMA designation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Analyze financial results and advise on profitability and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Partner with operations and executive leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
• Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.
