Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Controller in Indiana to lead the accounting function and report to executive leadership. The role offers a hybrid schedule with one work-from-home day per week and opportunities to influence strategic decisions across projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in accounting at Controller level, and construction accounting experience with job costing, WIP, and AIA billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with Accounting Manager or Controller-level responsibilities.
• 2+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience with job costing, WIP schedules, and AIA billing.
• Spectrum Viewpoint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Oversee WIP schedules and AIA billing activities.
• Review job costing reports and project profitability.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.
• Partner with leadership to support strategic and operational decisions.

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000
